Difference between Products bought at Farmers and Products from the Store

It is probably unnecessary to emphasis that there are several differences between the same products bought at farmers and in a store. If we can be pretty much certain about the freshness of certain goods and products bought at the farmers what can not be claimed for products bought in a store. Farmers usually pick their fruits and vegetables on request and often in front of us, and do not slaughter their livestock before not receiving an order, while policy of the stores is to provide everything all the time. However, everything is not purchased at the same day and products not removed until they are useful. Besides that some products do not contain information when they were produced, for an example when livestock, which meat is been for sale in the store, has been slaughtered or when fruit has been picked. For that reason it is practically impossible to determine freshness of products in the store, while of the products bought at the farmers is the other way around.

However, the products bought at farmers might be more fresh and tastier that the products in the store but we can not claim for sure that they are also healthier and more qualitative. Everything that it for sale in the store is (or at least should be) tested for eventual health risks and for that reason we can/should be more secure if buying foods in the store.

One of the important differences between the same products bought at the farmers or in the store is also the price. A pound of anything at the farmers will be almost certainly less expensive than at the store. However, in a store we can find everything we need in one place, while no farmer can not provide everything we need in our everyday lives. If we want to get everything at the farmers we will probably have drive to several different farmers what takes more time and energy than purchasing in a store. We also must count the fuel that we need to get to the farmer. Thus buying at farmers at the end might be more expensive than buying in the store for higher prices.
