Products that can be Bought at Farmers

All food and food's ingredients found in our kitchens, refrigerators and freezers can be bought at farmers: fruits and fruit products, vegetables and vegetable products, meat and meat products, milk and milk products, eggs, nuts, cereals and flour, herbs, spices, oils and fats, honey and other bee products, juices, alcohol drinks and vinegar.

Besides food or its ingredient farmers will also sell us variety of other products which we need and use in everyday life one way or the other: live plants and animals, seeds, bulbs, wool, flax, raw tobacco, etc.

All goods and products which are produced in a farm you can buy directly from farmer. However, you will probably not find everything what you need in your household daily at one farmer and at one place. The majority of farmers nowadays are engaged in producing of one or few goods and products, and are living exclusively from purchasing their products. For that reason you will probably have to go to one farmer to purchase meat, to the other to buy some vegetables, etc. However, some farmers also sell their products from door to door but they are predominantly the ones who could sell their surplus at home and as soon as they get regular costumers they will not ring your bell anymore.

However, recent global trends and greater request for more natural and bio products resulted also changes in agriculture. Farmers started to pay attention to global trends and costumer society demands for everything at one place and began to supply their costumers with a lot greater amount of goods and products, in first place with organic food.
